Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade
Windows: Evernote's desktop software does a good job at clipping screenshots, scribblings, and as-you-think text into your cloud-connected second brain, but didn't look so hot doing it. Evernote 3.5 upgrades the note views, and also improves your search powers.
The main thing existing Evernote users will notice about the upgrade are the three views offered for looking at notes: List, Mixed, and Thumbnails, and, while Thumbnails is new to Windows, they all look a bit better than before. If a note has geo-location tags, a map slides into place to show its location. On the whole, the interface feels a lot more Windows 7 than Windows 98.
More useful than just looks, though, the search database has been improved, and you can save and edit your search filters. Spell check goes multi-language in this version, and, having been in beta tests since September, it's a safe bet that a good number of bugs have been worked out.
